Response to Intervention (RTI)
RTI - Response to Intervention Response to intervention is a process where students are assessed in reading, writing, and math. This way we can identify if a students needs extra help with mastering specific skills and strategies that are needed to be successful in the classroom. Students can receive this extra help within thier own classroom or with a small group outside in another room. The activities that they do are designed to reinforce the specific skills and strategies that a student needs to practice. This is continued until the student is proficient in these skills.
